Four forwards Tottenham Hotspur could target in January after Richarlison’s injury blow
Tottenham Hotspur could be forced to sign a forward in the January transfer window after Brazilian forward Richarlison could be out for weeks on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury which he picked during the World Cup.
Spurs have been linked with some forwards over the months, but it seems now that Antonio Conte could bring in one of them to the north London club.
According to the Express has picked out the four possible forwards that could make the switch to north London next month:
Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez has been linked with the move to north London for some time now. The club came close to signing the 25-year-old in the summer of 2021 and tried again this summer too, both to no avail.
With the financial issues well known of the Nerazzurri, maybe the third time could be the lucky charm for the club? Another Serie A forward Victor Osimhen has been linked with a move to rivals Manchester United and Conte could rival Erik ten Hag for his signature.
The 23-year-old has been in fine form in front of goal for Napoli, scoring 10 goals in 14 appearances so far in all competition. Memphis Depay is another name being touted with the Barcelona man looking like the easiest player of the lot to acquire.
Depay has struggled for game time this season with Robert Lewandowski being the preferred option for the Catalonia club. The 28-year-old has huge experience under his belt and Spurs could look to bag a bargain with his signature.
Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram is another player on the list. The 25-year-old has been in fine form scoring 10 goals in 15 league games this season. He is currently in Qatar with France for the World Cup.
