PSG superstar Neymar sends Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison money to remove his face from back tattoo
Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison has been sent £26,000 by Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward Neymar, who wants his face removed from the Spurs striker’s back tattoo, according to Globo Sport via Brasil Edition on Twitter (h/t football.london).
The 25-year-old got the face of his compatriot, along with Ronaldo Nazario, tattooed on his back after an impressive 2022 World Cup campaign. However, it seems the 31-year-old is not happy about it.
In Qatar, the South American team were left heartbroken after being knocked out by Croatia in the quarter-finals. They lost on penalties against the Vatreni after Neymar had given them the lead in stoppage time after a mazy run.
However, the side captained by former Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric got back into the game and eventually upset Brazil. Tote’s team were one of the favourites to lift the golden trophy. However, it was not meant to be.
Richarlison played a pivotal role for the Canarinho at the 2022 World Cup. The 25-year-old led the line for his nation in Qatar. The former Everton star scored a brilliant bicycle kick against Serbia in the first group-stage fixture.
Brazil also managed to get the better of South Korea in the round of 16. Son Heung-min’s team were outclassed by the South Americans as the 2022 Spurs summer signing got on the scoresheet in a 4-1 victory.
Richarlison has been brilliant ever since making his move from Merseyside to North London. Initially, this term, the 25-year-old had to settle for appearances off the bench. However, the forward managed to make an impact whenever he came on.
But due to injuries in our forward line, the former Everton star has been crucial for Antonio Conte. In the current campaign, he has made 15 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
