Tottenham Hotspur have a good relationship with the agents of Piero Hincapie
Speaking to the Last Word on Spurs YouTube channel, popular Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have a good relationship with the agent of Piero Hincapie.
The Ecuadorian centre-back is much appreciated by the London club with Antonio Conte & co. keen on snapping up the talented defender. A good relationship with his agents definitely helps the cause.
Hincapie has really made a name for himself with his performances for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen. He is much appreciated in the German circles and is touted for the very best in football.
The world managed to take a look at the talent that the 20-year-old possesses with his displays for Ecuador at the World Cup in Qatar. He was one of their best players there and definitely made a strong case for himself.
Hincapie is a left-sided defender who prefers playing as a centre-back but can also deputise as a left-back if the need arises. He would be the perfect fit for the Ben Davies role in the Antonio Conte system.
Speaking about the prospect of Tottenham signing Hincapie, here is what Romano had to say about their chances.
“Hincapie is appreciated it’s true but Bayer Leverkusen want to keep all their players until the end of the season, so it’s not going to be easy”
“I’m told that Tottenham have a very good relationship with the agents of the player, of people representing the player.”
We have seen in the past that Paratici and Conte have a way of convincing players to join the club if they are really keen on signing them and a player like Hincapie would be a great acquisition.
Tottenham are not going through the best of their moments right now and have a lot to work on. Adding another defender to the squad would definitely be welcome for the North London club.

Hincapie could be the next arrival at N17. It remains to be seen if Spurs pull this off and this will definitely be a great signing.
