Tottenham Hotspur and PSG target Milan Skriniar ‘set to leave’ Inter Milan this summer

Tottenham Hotspur, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), and Chelsea transfer target Milan Skriniar ‘appears set to leave’ Inter Milan this summer, as per Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Express).

The Slovakia international is in the final six months of his contract and could leave as a free agent this summer. This would mean no stress of negotiating with the club for Skriniar’s suitors.

He doesn’t seem to be eager to renew his contract at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium. It also means those three teams are free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement this month.

Milan Skriniar can be a top signing for Tottenham Hotspur under Antonio Conte in the future.

Spurs will have to make sure that they have an attractive financial offer and a better sporting project to present to Skriniar. That is a hard, hard task to do with PSG and Chelsea in the race.

They’ve won trophies more recently and have the financial power to seal deals such as this. Moreover, Skriniar is good enough to play in almost any team in world football – including PSG and Chelsea.

Les Parisiens have an ageing Sergio Ramos that they will have to replace sooner rather than later. Chelsea, meanwhile, have had a horrid time with Wesley Fofana and Kalidou Koulibaly.

The former is injured and the latter is out of form. Hence, Chelsea and PSG have a need for a player like Skriniar and Spurs will have to be very proactive and pull out all the stops to beat them for the Slovakian.
