Lawyer of Tottenham Hotspur target Memphis Depay dismisses Inter Milan links
According to Fabrizio Romano via his Twitter, Tottenham Hotspur target Memphis Depay‘s lawyer has denied any possibility of the player moving to Inter Milan.
Romano also mentions that Atletico Madrid are touted as one of the destinations for the Dutch International but FC Barcelona are reluctant to sell the player to a direct rival.
This could pave the way for Spurs to make a move for the player, who has been offered to them by his agent as well as to Newcastle United.

The Catalan club do not want to lose Depay for free with his contract expiring at the end of the season (Transfermarkt) and hence would welcome any bid that is potentially near their demands.
For Antonio Conte and Spurs, although there is heavy competition in the attacking department, Depay could turn out to be a shrewd signing.
A seasoned professional player who has seen the ups and down in his footballing career, Depay could provide the much-needed composure and steel needed in front of a gruelling season ahead.
Half of the season is yet to go and any injury to one of our big hitters could prove to be fatal for our top-four hopes.
Hence, it is imperative that we have the good squad depth to fight for a good finish and Depay, with Premier League experience under his belt, could prove to be just the signing that we need.
