Rio Ferdinand claims Harry Kane will snub Manchester United and stay at Tottenham.

The Tottenham Hotspur football club had a far-from-easy journey back toward the top of the English Premier League over recent years and will be keen to push on in the coming years. Spurs have been quiet in the transfer market so far this summer, but with a squad of players still in their 20s — there is plenty of potential to build a future winning side.

Here, we’ll list the top five players in their 20s and why they are worth following.

Harry Kane

Harry Kane is a striker for Tottenham Hotspur, who plays as a center forward. He is now 29 years old and is known as one of the best young players. In fact, he has been nominated for the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Young Player of the Year on three occasions (2014, 205, and 2016). Moreover, his name is notorious in traditional sportsbooks and sites.

Moreover, Kane is one of the world’s highest-paid players, with a networth of over $49 million. He has played 79 times for the English national team, scoring 52 goals. Kane scored 14 goals versus Arsenal before last weekend’s Premier League rivalry matchup, contributing to his total 265 goals scored for Tottenham in 412 games across all competitions since 2012.

Eric Dier

Eric Dier is a 29-year-old defender, midfielder, and English footballer. He plays for the Tottenham Hotspur and England national teams. Dier was born on January 15, 1994, in Cheltenham, England, to parents Louise Dier and Jeremy Dier.

Following his father’s footsteps, Eric started playing football as a youngster at Whaddon Road F C, where his father was the manager and attended Brockworth Comprehensive School until 2011. He joined Sporting Lisbon’s academy before signing with Tottenham Hotspur after impressing them during their pre-season tour that year, where he made appearances against Sporting CP, Norwich City FC & Southampton FC.

Ben Davies

Ben Davies is a 29-year-old Welsh international footballer who plays for Tottenham Hotspur as a left-back or left-winger. He has represented Wales at under-19, under-20, and under-21 levels.

Davies made his professional debut for Swansea City in 2012 before moving to Tottenham Hotspur in 2014 for an estimated fee of 4 million pounds. He made his debut for the club in August 2014 against AEL Limassol in the Europa League qualifying stage first leg match which ended 3-0 in favour of Spurs, with Davies assisting one goal by Erik Lamela.

Ben played 29 times in all games for Spurs in his first season (2014–15) in north London, featuring nine starts in the Europa League – surpassing any other player. This was despite facing fierce competition for spots after joining Spurs. In August 2016, he signed a new contract with Spurs to keep him at the club until 2021. Last July 2022, Davies signed a three-year contract extension with Tottenham until 2025.

Cameron Carter-Vickers

Cameron Carter-Vickers is the youngest rising star at Tottenham Hotspur on our list. He is a center-back who stands at 6’2″ and is powerful in the air. He’s an excellent ball passer, has great technique, and can play out from the back.

The 25-year-old defender is an American native who made his debut for the first team in 2015. He made his first start in 2016 against Gillingham in an FA Cup match and made 12 appearances that season.

In 2017, he was part of England’s Under-20 World Cup winning squad, where they defeated Venezuela 1-0 in the final match held at Suwon Stadium on June 11, 2017.

The Tottenham defender is highly rated by Spurs fans and has been tipped to be a future England international. Carter-Vickers has won the U18 Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur and the U21 Premier League with Swansea City.

Conclusion

Tottenham Hotspur’s young for the club every season, and there are a few players who stand out above others. These young Tottenham Hotspur players still have their whole careers ahead of them, giving Spurs fans plenty of opportunities to see them develop into some of the club’s greatest ever.
