Tottenham consider Dean Henderson as a replacement for Hugo Lloris
According to Nottinghamshire Live, Tottenham Hotspur are considering on-loan Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson as a replacement for the aging Hugo Lloris.
Tottenham Hotspur are in search of a long-term successor to their current goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris. The Frenchman has been a stalwart between the sticks for Spurs since joining the club in 2012, but at the age of 36, he is nearing the end of his career.
One player that has caught the eye of the Tottenham scouting team is Dean Henderson. The 25-year-old goalkeeper is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest from Manchester United, and he has impressed with his performances in the Premier League.

Although Henderson is currently sidelined with a muscular problem, he is expected to return to action before the end of the season. Forest have also signed Keylor Navas and there could be competition for places.
Henderson is a talented goalkeeper who has a bright future ahead of him. He is a good shot-stopper, commands his area well, and has excellent distribution skills. These are all qualities that are highly valued by modern football managers, and it is no surprise that Tottenham are considering him as a potential replacement for Lloris.
However, Spurs are not the only club interested in Henderson. Manchester United are reportedly willing to sell him in the summer, along with a number of other players. This means that Tottenham will face competition for his signature, and they will need to act quickly if they want to secure his services.
Of course, Henderson is not the only goalkeeper on Tottenham’s shortlist. The club is said to be considering a number of other options, including Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili, Brentford’s David Raya, Brighton’s Robert Sanchez, AC Milan’s Mike Maignan, Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez, and Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak.
Each of these players has their own strengths and weaknesses, and it will be up to the Tottenham coaching staff to decide which one is the best fit for the club. Henderson may be young and relatively unproven, but he has the potential to develop into one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
