Manchester United urged to sign Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison over Harry Kane
Speaking to OLBG as quoted by the Metro, Former Brazil midfielder Kleberson urges Manchester United to sign Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison over his teammate Harry Kane.
Kane has been a name that has been linked with Man United for quite some time now. The talented Tottenham striker could be on the move away from N17 and Old Trafford is touted as a possible destination.
After all, Erik ten Hag’s team need a striker who can be their source of goals and who better than Kane who has done just that so consistently in the top flight for so many years now in a Tottenham shirt.
No Tottenham fan wants to see this story with Kane come to an end but there is a feeling that the lack of ambition at this club is eventually going to get to the English superstar who is yet to win a single trophy with the club.
Moving to a club like Man United would get him just that. The Red Devils recently picked up silverware by beating Newcastle United in the final of the Carabao cup and there is no doubt that he would be a player that suits them.
However, former Brazilian midfielder, Kleberson has other ideas and wants Man United to sign Richarlison.
“I’d really like to see Richarlison play for Man Utd. He’s the kind of striker that could help United a lot.Especially with teams pressing, he can do a low block, he can put pressure on the centre-back and he can get inside the box”
With all due respect to Richarlison, this comment from Kleberson is baffling. The Brazilian for all his talent is nowhere near the levels that Harry Kane has reached and has been having a very poor season.
As a Tottenham fan though, we really wish Kleberson was the man making sporting decisions at Man United as we’d rather lose Richarlison to the Red Devils than see Kane out of the door. The former Everton man hasn’t really convinced since his move in the summer.
