Manchester United have made contact with Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane over summer move
According to the Sun, Manchester United have made contact with Harry Kane over a summer move with the player being linked with a move away from the club.
As a Tottenham fan, the news that Manchester United has made contact with Harry Kane’s camp over a possible summer move is certainly not what we want to hear. However, it’s not entirely unexpected.
Kane has been one of the most consistent strikers in Europe in recent years, and it’s only natural that clubs with deep pockets would come knocking. While that’s not a foregone conclusion, it’s certainly a distinct possibility given the way this season has gone so far.
Harry Kane has now scored 20+ goals in each of the last nine seasons for Tottenham:

For one thing, United have a better chance of winning trophies than Tottenham at the moment. While Tottenham has come close in recent years, we’ve fallen short in the biggest moments.
Additionally, United can offer Kane a higher salary than Tottenham. His current deal is reportedly worth £200,000 a week, but United could potentially offer him even more than that. While money isn’t everything, it’s certainly a factor when considering a move.
Ultimately, the decision about Kane’s future will be up to him. He’s achieved a lot at Tottenham, but he may feel that he’s accomplished all he can at the club. If he does decide to leave, Tottenham can get big money for him.
Kane is one of the best players to grace the N17 and he will always be a Tottenham legend. It is not his fault that we have not been able to be more ambitious in recent seasons and one can understand if he wants to leave.
