Cristian Stellini believes he is the right man to lead Tottenham Hotspur
Speaking in the press conference as quoted by Daily Mail, Cristian Stellini, the interim head coach of Tottenham, is confident that he is the right man to lead the club through the final ten games of the Premier League season.
The departure of Antonio Conte last week may have caused chaos at the club, but Stellini believes that he and his team can bring stability to Tottenham and help the players to achieve a top-four finish.
Stellini is no stranger to the role of interim coach, having stood in for Conte during February when the former Spurs boss underwent surgery to remove his gallbladder. During that time, Stellini worked closely with assistant head coach Ryan Mason, and the pair were able to maintain the momentum that the team had built up earlier in the season.
Now, Stellini has been tasked with taking Tottenham to the next level and securing a place in the top four. This will not be an easy task, especially given the recent turmoil at the club with the manager change and everything.
Managing director of football Fabio Paratici’s ban in Italy has been extended worldwide, which means that Tottenham will have to make do without his services for the remainder of the season.
However, Stellini is undaunted by the challenge ahead. Speaking to the media, this is what he had to say
“I feel very honoured and feel I am in the right position to do this. I want to do this with all the staff, with (assistant head coach) Ryan (Mason) that is very important for me and the club and it was important when we were in charge when Antonio wasn’t here”
Stellini is keen to build on the work that he and Mason did earlier in the season and to help the players to rediscover their form. He believes that the key to success is teamwork and a collective effort from everyone at the club.
Stellini’s positive attitude and determination to succeed could be just what Tottenham need to turn their season around. With his experience as an interim coach and his close working relationship with Mason, he is well-placed to guide the team through the challenges ahead.
