Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has become a target for Spanish giants Real Madrid and French champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), according to the Daily Mail (h/t The Sun).

Los Blancos and the Parisians are looking to acquire the 29-year-old’s services on a free transfer at the end of next season. The England international’s current contract at Spurs is set to expire in the summer of 2024 (transfermarkt).

At the moment, it remains to be seen whether the forward will put pen to paper on new terms. But he might opt to see out his deal at the North London side and become a free agent.

Premier League rivals Manchester United are also interested in Kane. The England international is a top target for the Red Devils. Erik ten Hag is keen on bolstering his striking options in the upcoming transfer window.

As for Madrid, they are looking for Karim Benzema’s heir. The French national has led the La Liga outfit’s line since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. But at 35, the striker is in the final stages of his career.

On the other hand, PSG are also set to lose Lionel Messi and Neymar soon. Apart from Kylian Mbappe, Christophe Galtier’s team do not have any other established forwards in the squad.

Kane has been Tottenham’s talisman over the years. The English skipper has led the North London side’s attack season after season. In the current campaign, he has once again been our reliable goal-scorer.

However, for all of the 29-year-old’s individual achievements at Spurs, trophies have eluded him. Our academy graduate’s legacy so far does not include any silverware.

Madrid and PSG are serial trophy winners. Therefore, one could not blame Kane if he decided to leave Tottenham and join Los Blancos or the Ligue 1 giants in the coming future.
