Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Newcastle target Paulo Dybala could leave AS Roma for just £10m
Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Arsenal have been put on red alert as Paulo Dybala could supposedly leave AS Roma for just £10million.
This is according to 90min (h//t Football.London), who mention that the Argentine playmaker has an £18million release clause for Italian sides and an even lower figure for foreign teams. The clause will apparently become active this summer.
Dybala joined I Giallorossi from Juventus last summer and has scored 16 goals along with providing eight assists in 34 games this season. He has just over three years left on his deal at the Stadio Olimpico. (Transfermarkt).
Dybala, 29, is still in the prime years of his career. He could be a very useful player for us considering his quality and versatility.
What next for Dybala?
The Argentina international can play anywhere across the frontline and as a No. 10 – a profile that we currently lack. Fans will be licking their lips about the prospect of Dybala pairing up with the likes of Son Heung-min, Harry Kane and Dejan Kulusevski up front.
Of course, Kane’s future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is up in the air. But regardless, signing the AS Roma superstar makes sense in every scenario.
Nicknamed ‘La Joya‘ (the Jewel), Dybala is a very fine dribbler who can create and finish off chances in the final third at an impressive rate. He just makes things happen in the final third.
He will be a marquee signing if he joins us but interest from other Premier League teams – especially those desperately in need of a forward, such as Manchester United and Chelsea, will be of threat to us.
