Frankfurt CEO Axel Hellman hints at asking price for Tottenham target Randal Kolo Muani
According to popular Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Frankfurt CEO Axel Hellman hints at the asking price of Tottenham Hotspur target Randal Kolo Muani.
The 24-year-old striker from France has caught the eye of several top clubs across Europe, including Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Tottenham. He is not going to be cheap though.
Tottenham have been linked with a move for a striker due to the uncertain future of Harry Kane. The Englishman might leave Tottenham in the summer and the club will have to prepare for this eventuality.
Even if the English superstar decides to stay, we do not have a genuine replacement for him in the squad. For all his talent, Richarlison has flatter to deceive ever since he made the move to North London.
Even otherwise, Tottenham seem to be looking at Richarlison as more of a winger than a striker. For Brazil though, the former Evertonian really excels as a number nine and is first choice for Tite.
Speaking about Kolo Muani‘s situation, here is what Axel Hellman had to say about the transfer fee
“Kolo Muani? When I look at the international market, I imagine a different number than €90m… more than this!”
Kolo Muani is a talented striker. He has impressed a lot of Eintracht Frankfurt and played a lot of cameos off the bench for France in the World Cup. He would be a good striker for Tottenham to sign.
It remains to be seen whether United will be successful in their pursuit of Kolo Muani, but the fact that they are reportedly pushing hard for him shows Tottenham don’t have much time left to make a decision.
