Richarlison full of praise for Tottenham Hotspur superstar Harry Kane
Speaking to Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge, Richarlison was full of praise for talented Tottenham Hotspur superstar Harry Kane and hinted at playing many games together in the future.
Richarlison has nothing but admiration for his teammate Harry Kane, after the latter’s match-winning performance in Spurs’ game against Crystal Palace on Saturday. Despite Tottenham’s recent struggles, Kane has once again shone with his excellent goal-scoring record in the league.
Kane’s first-half header was the only goal of the match, securing Tottenham’s first win in five games and ending Palace’s unbeaten run under Roy Hodgson. With this goal, Harry Kane has also surpassed Wayne Rooney as the second-highest scorer in the Premier League’s history, cementing his place as one of the best strikers in the league.
Speaking with Michael Bridge, Richarlison was quick to praise Kane’s incredible work ethic and goal-scoring ability. Here is what he said
“I’m very happy for Harry. I think it’s good because he works hard in training. I see it in training and in the game. Harry played good and he scores every game. Me and Harry, together, a lot of goals in the Premier League [smiles]”
It is clear that Richarlison has a deep respect for Kane and recognizes the immense contributions that he has made to the team this season. Kane’s form has been nothing short of sensational, with 26 goals in the league so far.
Despite Tottenham’s struggles this season, there is no denying that Kane has been the driving force behind the team’s performances. His goals have often been the difference between winning and losing, and his leadership on and off the pitch has been invaluable.
For Richarlison, his debut season with Tottenham has been challenging, with the Brazilian not yet really settling into the team. However, his recent performances have shown signs of improvement, and he will be looking to impress whoever takes over as Tottenham’s new manager ahead of the 2023/24 season.
With the club reportedly seeking an attacking-minded boss, Richarlison’s performances could potentially improve further. He is a player with immense talent and potential, and with the right guidance and support, he could become an integral part of Tottenham’s attacking line-up.
