Lee Dykes emerges as potential Fabio Paratici replacement for Tottenham
According to Daily Mail, Brentford’s technical director Lee Dykes is on Tottenham Hotspur’s radar to join as the replacement for Fabio Paratici who left last month.
Paratici had to leave his role as the Sporting director of Tottenham Hotspur after his appeal against the ban was rejected. Since then, the club have been without a director and a permanent manager.
Due to a financial fraud controversy that occurred when he was at Juventus, Italian football banned Fabio Paratici from any football-related activity. The Italian had to leave his position as FIFA expanded the suspension globally.
Daniel Levy is currently in search for both the vacancies alongside newly appointed Chief Football Officer Scott Munn who is brought in to head all operations at the club. Ryan Mason is currently doing a great job as Tottenham’s manager.
Brentford’s Lee Dykes is a name that has emerged a potential candidate for the sporting director role along with Johannes Spors. Dykes has done a great job bringing the Bees to where they belong right now.
A club very much in oblivion until very recently, Brentford have quickly established themselves as a Premier League regular. Recruitment has been one of their main reasons for that to happen and Dykes has been the mastermind behind this.
Julian Nagelsmann who is said to be one of the favourites for the managerial job at Tottenham has apparently asked for clarity from the club regarding the next sporting director as well as his own say in transfers.
Tottenham will surely be working behind the scenes to appoint the best sporting director that they can. With all due credit to Paratici, he did get us a few amazing deals like Cristian Romero and Rodrigo Bentancur.
