Tottenham are showing interest in Sheffield United star Iliman Ndiaye
According to Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are showing interest in signing talented young Sheffield United star Iliman Ndiaye.
Spurs scouts recently watched the Senegalese star play against Preston North End, where he netted his 15th goal of the season and assisted another. This performance has only added to the increasing interest in the player.
The 23-year-old has been in fantastic form throughout the season, making him one of the top targets for numerous clubs. However, his current contract with Sheffield United is set to expire next year (Transfermarkt), which could cause some concern for The Blades.
They will be eager to keep hold of him going into next season and will try to convince him to sign a new deal. However, the interest from Tottenham may prove too hard to resist for the player.
Tottenham Hotspur is still considered among the top clubs, despite their turbulent season. They are still in with a chance of qualifying for European competitions next season, and this opportunity would likely be too tempting for the striker to reject
If he were to join Spurs, he would add depth and quality to their attacking line-up, whose over-reliance on Harry Kane needs to be addressed. However, Iliman Ndiaye might need time to adapt to the step-up.

The loss of Ndiaye to a top club like Tottenham could be a significant blow for Sheffield United. The club secured promotion to the Premier League alongside Burnley and will hope to maintain a strong squad going into next season.
While Everton’s interest in the player may not be as big of a problem given their current season and potential relegation, losing him to a top club like Tottenham could be a significant setback for Sheffield United.
