Tottenham Hotspur earmark four names to replace Fabio Paratici
According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are currently finalising their plans to appoint a replacement for Fabio Paratici.
Roma general manager Tiago Pinto and Eintracht Frankfurt’s sporting CEO Markus Krosche are two of the names who are currently under consideration by the north Londoners. They could be the new sporting director at the N17.
Marcus Krosche joined Frankfurt in 2021 from RB Leipzig. He has done a great job at the Bundesliga club. His moves helped the club win the Europa League last season beating the likes of Barcelona on their way.
Pinto made the spotlight for his work bringing in players on the cheap at Benfica who the Portuguese club made a profit out of and has continued his impressive work at Roma alongside Jose Mourinho with the Serie A club.
Lee Dykes and Johannes Spors have also been names linked to the Tottenham job. Dykes has done a brilliant job at Brentford. He could be the perfect kind of person the club needs going forward.
Tottenham have been left scrambling for a new sporting director after Fabio Paratici was forced to step down from his role following a worldwide ban being imposed on him in relevance to his time at Juventus.
The Italian did a great job at Tottenham when he was here, bringing in the likes of Cristian Romero, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Pedro Porro – players who have shown promising signs during their time here.
Tottenham have been thrown into the deep end of the pool now, with the club without a permanent manager or sporting director. The club need to sort out both positions as soon as they can.
