Tottenham Hotspur could move for Real Madrid star Ferland Mendy
According to the Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur have been alerted about the availability of Real Madrid left-back Ferland Mendy in the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Spanish giants. Mendy’s availability has alerted a number of clubs, including arch-rivals Arsenal, but it is Tottenham who are believed to be leading the race for his signature.
With Ryan Sessegnon and Ivan Perisic currently occupying the left-wingback role, Tottenham could benefit from the addition of Mendy. While Perisic has had an illustrious career, he is approaching the latter stages of his playing days.
