Adrian Blake to snub Watford contract amidst Tottenham Hotspur links
Watford wonderkid Adrian Blake, who has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, is set to snub a contract offer from the Hornets, according to the Evening Standard.
The 17-year-old has turned down the latest deal that was offered by the Championship outfit. As such, the youngster is now considering the options for his future.
A number of teams in the Premier League as well as abroad are interested in the English national. Therefore, the forward has an important decision to make—whether to fast-track his way into a club’s first-team setup or join a top sides academy.
Blake has already made three appearances for Watford in the current campaign. However, the youngster is yet to get a call-up to the Three Lions’ youth team. As a result, Jamaica are looking to poach the forward.
The 17-year-old is one of the most promising prospects to come out from the Hornets’ academy. However, it remains to be seen what the future holds for him.
Tottenham have an abundance of young talent in their ranks as well. The North London side have seen the likes of Troy Parrott, Alfie Devine and Dane Scarlett, amongst others, develop in the academy.
