Tottenham Hotspur amongst several Premier League teams ‘eyeing’ Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot
Tottenham Hotspur are amongst the several Premier League teams ‘eyeing’ a move for Juventus star Adrien Rabiot, according to 90min (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The France international’s current contract with the Bianconeri is set to expire at the end of the season. As a result, the midfielder will be available on a free transfer if he does not extend his stay at the Italian outfit.
To that end, Spurs are looking to acquire the 28-year-old’s services as a free agent in the upcoming transfer window. However, the North London side will face competition from other English top-flight rivals.
Arsenal and Liverpool also have Rabiot on their radar. Manchester United are also interested in the French national and Erik ten Hag has already made contact with the midfielder regarding a move to England.
The 28-year-old joined Juventus in the summer of 2019 after leaving Paris Saint-Germain. Over the years, he has been a pivotal player for the Old Lady.
In the current campaign, Rabiot has especially established himself as a key player for the Bianconeri. The midfielder also shone for France in the 2022 World Cup as Les Bleus made it to the final.
Tottenham’s engine room was bolstered last summer with the addition of Yves Bissouma from Brighton & Hove Albion. However, the 26-year-old has been underwhelming in his debut season at the club.
We have mostly relied on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentacur in the engine room this season. However, the Uruguay international’s injury was a blow for us. He was the only attack-minded midfielder in our ranks.

The North London side also have Oliver Skipp in their ranks. But we need to evidently add more creativity to the middle of the park, which Rabiot is more than capable of doing. But it remains to be seen whether Spurs will be able to pip the competition to get a hold of the French national’s signature.
