Alan Brazil tips Harry Kane to quit Tottenham Hotspur for Liverpool
Speaking to TalkSport, Journalist Alan Brazil believes that Liverpool could be a serious and realistic option for Harry Kane.
With Kane’s contract set to expire next year, speculation surrounding his next destination has been rife. Several top clubs, including Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and PSG, have expressed interest in acquiring the services of the prolific English forward.
Out of these potential suitors, Manchester United appears to be the most heavily linked with Harry Kane. The Red Devils have reportedly made him their top target and are believed to be actively pursuing a transfer deal.
Bayern Munich’s CEO Oliver Kahn has also expressed admiration for Kane, considering him as a potential replacement for their star striker Robert Lewandowski. Additionally, Mauricio Pochettino’s links as Chelsea manager has sparked rumours of a potential reunion with Kane at Stamford Bridge.
Adding further fuel to the speculation, PSG has now entered the mix. However, it is worth noting that no concrete reports or official talks have taken place with any of these clubs for the Tottenham star.
Despite the speculation surrounding rival clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea, Alan Brazil believes that Kane joining either of these teams is unlikely due to the intense rivalry between them. However, he believes Liverpool are an option.
“What if Harry and Declan both went to Liverpool? Where is he going to go? He can’t go to Arsenal. Chelsea and Spurs hate each other”
Convincing Kane to leave England could prove to be a challenging task. The striker has openly expressed his desire to break Alan Shearer’s Premier League goal-scoring record, indicating his commitment to remaining in the league.
Considering the attacking talent already present at Liverpool, it appears highly improbable that Kane will end up at Anfield. This scenario further strengthens Manchester United’s position as the frontrunner in the race for his signature.
