PSG earmark Luis Enrique as next manager amidst Tottenham Hotspur interest
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have earmarked Luis Enrique as their next manager amidst interest from Tottenham Hotspur, according to Marca (h/t The Sun).
It is likely that the Parisians will part ways with current head coach Christophe Galtier at the end of the season. In their bid for a successor, the French champions have joined the race for the former Spain head coach.
The Ligue 1 outfit are looking to fast-forward their attempt to get a hold of the 53-year-old because they realise that there is a lot of competition to acquire his signature. Italian giants Napoli are also eyeing the ex-Barcelona gaffer.

Apart from Enrique, PSG also have former Spurs manager Jose Mourinho on their shortlist. Appointing Zinedine Zidane as the head coach is also a dream for the Parc des Princes side.
The Spaniard is one of the most experienced managers out there at the moment. At Barcelona, in his debut season, the 53-year-old led the Blaugrana to a historic treble, winning the Champions League, La Liga and Copa del Rey.
PSG appointed Galtier last summer after parting ways with Mauricio Pochettino. The French club’s biggest desire remains to get their hands on the UCL trophy. But the Parisians were knocked out of the round of 16 this season for the second year in a row.
As for Tottenham, we parted ways with Antonio Conte earlier in the season. The Italian had a good start to his stint at Spurs and managed to get into the top four in the previous campaign.
However, in the 2022/23 term, the former Inter Milan head coach was unable to bring the best out of the North London side. As things stand, we are eighth in the league table, with Ryan Mason in charge of the team.
