Barcelona star Ansu Fati has ‘no interest’ in parting ways with the Blaugrana this summer amidst links to Tottenham Hotspur, according to Mundo Deportivo via The Hard Tackle (h/t Manchester Evening News).

The Spain international has informed his representatives that he has no intention to leave the La Liga giants ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

However, while the 20-year-old is adamant about remaining part of the Camp Nou side, his future is still uncertain. The Spanish outfit could yet decide to offload the forward in the coming weeks.

Fati made his way through the famous Barcelona academy. Subsequently, the youngster broke onto the scene a few years back. Unfortunately, injuries then hampered the attacker’s development at the Blaugrana.

Yet, Spaniard was handed the famous number 10 shirt by the Camp Nou side after Lionel Messi’s departure. However, the 20-year-old has been unable to live up to the expectations so far.

Fati has fallen down the pecking order under Xavi. Barcelona have an abundance of talent up front with Robert Lewandowski, Ousmane Dembele, Raphinha and Ferran Torres. As a result, the Spaniard has mostly seen his game time coming off the bench.

Tottenham are blessed to have world-class forwards in their ranks as well. Harry Kane and Son Heung-min have consistently showcased their talent at Spurs. Although, the South Korean struggled last season.

We also have Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski in our ranks. While the two were not at their best in the 2022/23 campaign, they possess a lot of quality and potential.

Fati has not been the same ever since his fitness issues. The Spaniard is yet to seemingly find his rhythm. Therefore, it does not make sense for the North London side to acquire the 20-year-old’s services as things stand.
