Tottenham Hotspur star Dejan Kulusevski says his best is yet to come
Tottenham Hotspur secured a very smart coup earlier this when they sealed the signing of Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus permanently.
The Sweden international arrived on an initial loan deal from Juve in January 2022. After an 18-month loan spell, Spurs had the chance to make the permanent for €35million.
But instead, as per Reuters, they agreed on a renegotiated fee of £25million. Deki has signed a five-year deal and has committed his best years to Spurs.
That is a huge win for the Lilywhites, given his ability and his ceiling. The Swede is headed for greatness and despite two injuries last season, was always one of our biggest attacking threats when playing.
Headed for greatness
Be it Antonio Conte, Cristian Stellini or Ange Postecoglou – a player of Kulusevski’s ilk will always make Tottenham a better team. His darting runs down the right flank and his smart decision-making ability at the end of it make him a very potent attacker.
But the player himself believes his best is yet to come. Speaking in an interview, via the club’s official website, Kulusevski said:
“I still think I can grow so much. I’m still young, I’m 23, I hope to play this game for many years, and I think I can improve a lot, especially in the head, because that’s where it all is – football here, everyone can play. I’m always positive. We all love this game. Eventually, the storm goes and it’s all smiles again…”
The 23-year-old has the ability to become one of the finest players in the world and Spurs can provide him the stage to achieve just that. Hopefully, under Postecoglou, Kulusevski understands his role in a more cemented way.

Under Conte, it was never clear if he was above or below Richarlison in the pecking order. If he stays fit, there is no reason why he shouldn’t be our first-choice right winger.
