Manchester United to offer Jadon Sancho plus cash for Tottenham Hotspur superstar Harry Kane

Manchester United’s pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur’s star striker Harry Kane has taken an intriguing twist, as they are now considering a tempting offer to secure his services.

According to the Express, the Manchester club are contemplating a player-plus-cash deal that includes the talented Jadon Sancho. This proposition comes after Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy’s reluctance to sell Kane to a Premier League rival.

Tottenham’s steadfast demands for Kane stand at an eye-watering £100 million, a staggering figure that has dissuaded potential suitors from making a move for the prolific forward, especially considering his contract situation.

Manchester United had previously withdrawn their interest, seemingly deterred by the high price tag attached to the Englishman’s signature. However, recent developments suggest that Manchester United may make a renewed attempt to secure Kane’s services by incorporating Sancho into the deal.

Tottenham, who have been linked with the young winger in recent weeks, are apparently keeping a close eye on the situation. Sancho has been a name doing the rounds for the past month or so now.

Although Manchester United face financial constraints and operate within a strict budget, they may still have a glimmer of hope in their pursuit of Harry Kane. A cash plus Sancho offer could prove enticing enough to coax Tottenham into engaging in negotiations.

Sancho, who joined Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund, has experienced some struggles in replicating his previous form in the Premier League, registering a modest 12 goals in 79 appearances.

Nonetheless, competition for Kane’s signature is fierce, with Bayern Munich also expressing a keen interest in the talented striker. The German giants have already tabled an initial bid, but it fell short of Tottenham’s valuation by a substantial £40 million.

Daniel Levy is not here to do any favours and will certainly not make anyone’s life easy in their pursuit of Harry Kane. Even an offer including Sancho is likely to face the same fate.
