Eintracht Frankfurt forward and PSG target Randal Kolo Muani ‘seriously looked’ by Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur have ‘seriously looked’ at the prospect of signing Eintracht Frankfurt star and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) target Randal Kolo Muani, according to the Independent.
The 24-year-old has caught a lot of people’s attention with his displays in the last few months, including the North London side. Premier League rivals Manchester United and Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have also been monitoring the striker.
However, it is the Ligue 1 outfit who are leading the race for the France international. The Parisians are looking to bolster their number nine position and have him on their radar.
The Parc des Princes side have managed to convince Kolo Muani to move back to France. He previously played for Nantes before moving to Germany on a free transfer last summer.
In the 2022/23 term, the French national thrived and established himself as a quality attacker, scoring and creating a considerable amount of goals. As such, Eintracht are believed to want £80 million for the 24-year-old.
PSG have lost Lionel Messi this summer. At the moment, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are the only two established forwards in their ranks. They have signed Marco Asensio on a free transfer, though.
On the other hand, Tottenham have an abundance of talent up front for now. However, Harry Kane is being linked with a move to Bayern Munich. The English skipper was our only reliable goal-getter last season.
While Spurs do have Son Heung-min, Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevki in their ranks, they were underwhelming in the previous campaign. We have signed Manor Solomon, but he is a winger rather than a number nine.

Therefore, if Kane were to leave, the North London side would evidently need to reinforce the attack with a prolific striker. Kolo Muani looks like a great option, but it does not seem like the Lilywhites will be able to beat PSG to his signature.
