Manor Solomon excited to achieve Tottenham Hotspur “dream”
Tottenham Hotspur star Manor Solomon is excited to achieve a “dream” of playing for a big club after officially signing as a new player for the North London side.
Spurs have made the Israel international their second addition to the team in the ongoing transfer window after the arrival of James Maddison from Leicester City. The 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a deal until June 2028.
Speaking on the club’s official website, Solomon expressed his delight at having joined Tottenham this summer. It remains to be seen how the forward will perform in his first year at the Lilywhites.
“I’m really excited to be here, to come to a big club like Tottenham is a dream come true for me.”
The left-winger developed at Shakhtar Donetsk before making his way to Fulham on loan in the previous campaign. Unfortunately, the Israeli’s start in the Premier League was hampered due to an injury.
However, he returned in the second half of last season for the Cottagers and impressed. In 24 appearances in all competitions for the Craven Cottage side, the 23-year-old found the back of the net five times.
Subsequently, Spurs have taken a punt on Solomon. We have added the Israeli to our already stacked attack, which includes the likes of Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison.
I'm so delighted and excited to be joining this fantastic football club. It's truly an honour to be here and I can't wait to get started.

Unfortunately, the South Korean international’s form dipped drastically in the 2022/23 term. The 31-year-old was unable to make a big mark and failed to live up to expectations.
Kane was the only one who was able to find the back of the net on a consistent basis. The English skipper led the line as an example. On the other hand, Richarlison was underwhelming and was unable to produce the displays at Tottenham that he has in the past for Everton.

Hopefully, Solomon’s arrival will add competition to the squad and spur on our attackers. The Israeli will give Ange Postecoglou a different option when need be. Will the 23-year-old’s signing be a success? Only time will tell.
