Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic leading candidate to replace Harry Kane at Tottenham Hotspur
Dusan Vlahovic, who plays for Juventus, is one of the leading candidates to replace Harry Kane if he were to leave Tottenham Hotspur, according to Foot Mercato (h/t Express).
Spurs’ talisman is being eyed by Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and French champions Paris Saint-Germain this summer. The Bavarians are ready to make a third bid for the English skipper, while the Parisians are set to meet his representatives.
To that end, the North London side are looking for the 29-year-old’s successors in the ongoing transfer window. Vlahovic is one of the names ‘right at the top of their list’.
However, Tottenham are not the only Premier League outfit who have the Serbia international on their radar. English top-flight rivals Chelsea are also interested in the 23-year-old.
Juventus signed Vlahovic in January 2022 from Fiorentina. However, despite a decent start to his spell at the Allianz Stadium side, the striker has been unable to live up to the expectations in Turin.
At the Florence-based club, the Serbian had established himself as a prolific forward. But things have not gone to plan for the 23-year-old at the Bianconeri.
As for Tottenham, Kane has been leading our line for several years now. The England international made his way through the youth ranks at the North London side and has developed into a world-class number nine.
In the previous campaign, the 29-year-old had to shoulder the burden of our attack. The likes of Son Heung-min, Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison were unable to make much of an impact.

Therefore, we will evidently need to replace Kane if he does end up leaving. While the ideal scenario would be to keep the English national, having our eyes on someone like Vlahovic is a decent option.
