Agent Giulio Tedeschi talks about Arthur Cabral to Tottenham Hotspur
Italian football agent Giulio Tedeschi has suggested that Tottenham might be considering Fiorentina’s Arthur Cabral as a potential replacement for Harry Kane.
However, Tedeschi also believes that Cabral might not be the sole name on the Premier League club’s wishlist. If Kane was to leave the club, Tottenham need to get a striker who can replicate the Englishman’s goalscoring prowess.
As speculation about Kane’s future at Spurs continues to intensify, with Bayern Munich showing interest in the talented striker, there are growing whispers that Tottenham might be willing to cash in on him.
Should that happen, it’s said that the North London club has already turned its attention to Arthur Cabral and initial contacts have been made with Fiorentina to inquire about the Brazilian’s availability.
Cabral, a 25-year-old striker, showcased his goal-scoring prowess last season, finding the back of the net 17 times across all competitions. Agent Tedeschi, when asked about the likelihood of Cabral’s move to Tottenham, revealed that there is indeed a possibility.
He emphasized that the potential departure of Harry Kane would leave a massive void that wouldn’t be easy to fill. However, Tedeschi also noted that Cabral possesses a different set of characteristics compared to Kane, making him just one of the names on Spurs’ radar.
While Tottenham’s interest in Cabral appears genuine, it is obvious that the Brazilian is not the first name on the list, should Kane leave the club. In that scenario, the club might want a more high-profile name.
While Cabral could be a promising addition to the squad, Spurs supporters will still be hoping that Harry Kane stays at the club. However, that seems really unlikely at least as things stand right now.
