Harry Kane pushing Tottenham Hotspur to join Bayern Munich

Harry Kane is apparently ‘pushing’ Tottenham Hotspur to allow him to join Bayern Munich.

This is according to acclaimed transfer journalist Rudy Galetti on Twitter, who says this will be a crucial week for the 30-year-old. Apparently, Bayern are willing to come in with a third bid.

Their first two bids were rejected by Spurs but the third bid is believed to be around the £90million mark. Kane is apparently completely sold on the idea to move to the German giants.

English players have found success in Germany in recent years and Kane will undoubtedly be the most famous player from the country to join Bundesliga. If he joins Bayern, that is.

Kane set for Bayern move?

There has to come a time where there is an acceptance that the England international will leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. He is in the final year of his contract at Spurs (Transfermarkt).

We either sell him this summer and rake in big money, or we see him leave for nothing next year. At least by selling him to Bayern, we will prevent Kane from joining a direct English rival.

Moreover, this fee can be utilised towards signing a potential replacement(s) for the greatest player in our club’s history. Richarlison is there, but Kane’s numbers, presence and aura is hard to replace.

We will either have to go out and get a world-class striker or take a risk with a youngster and bank on him to develop into a world-beater.

Another idea would be to shift the tactical set-up of the team in a way that Kane is not replaced by just one player, but that the team’s framework changes in a way that his absence can be compensated for. Let’s see what Daniel Levy feels about Bayern’s potential third offer, first.
