Fabrizio Romano: Tottenham ace Harry Kane transfer saga could reach a conclusion today

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the transfer saga surrounding Tottenham Hotspur ace Harry Kane and Bayern Munich could reach its conclusion today.

The German club seem to have submitted a ‘take it or leave it’ offer for Kane and it looks like they will not return with an improved bid, should Tottenham and Daniel Levy refuse to sell him today.

This transfer saga has been dragging on way too long for anyone’s comfort and Bayern have come to a decision that it must end now, one way or the other. The ball is now in Tottenham’s court to decide.

Harry Kane has been flirting with a move to the German giants ever since he got to know that they were interested. He still remains keen on making a move to Munich but needs Tottenham to accept the offer.

Tottenham for their part have played the long waiting game without giving in. No one still has any clue if Daniel Levy is willing to sell his star striker and he has managed to keep his cards close to his chest for the time being.

However, both Bayern and Tottenham cannot just be lying around waiting. If Kane leaves, Tottenham need to sign a replacement striker. If Kane stays, Bayern need to look at a number nine option.

Daniel Levy cannot be without even considering the option of selling Kane. As much as we want him to stay, we could end up losing the Englishman for free should he fail to renew his contract by next summer.

It is a good thing that this Kane saga will be over in 24 hours. If he stays, we have nothing to worry about. If he leaves, we can thank him for his services and move on to more pressing matters ahead.
