Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a fair price for Gift Orban
According to journalist Rudy Galetti on GiveMeSport, Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are seeking a deal for Gift Orban but only for a fair price.
The 21-year-old joined Belgian giants Gent from Norwegian side Stabaek in 2023 and has quickly established himself as one of the most prolific goal-scorers in world football.
A centre-forward, the youngster has scored 25 goals and assisted two more in 26 appearances across all competitions for Gent. He is exploding onto the big stage and it is imperative that Spurs make their move before other teams join the fray.
Spurs have a huge void to fill up front following the exit of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich. Richarlison means well and tries hard but he is not a prolific goal scorer and will struggle to replicate Kane’s numbers.
Several strikers are on Tottenham’s radar and time is running out for Daniel Levy to add to the squad. Orban is valued at €30m by Gent who are holding firm on their resolve to keep their star man. Galetti said:
“They would like to negotiate a fair price with Gent to bring him to the Premier League. Among the European top clubs, Inter Milan have also shown interest in him despite, as we told before, their main target remains as Folarin Balogun.
“The price tag for Gift Orban is already set by the Belgian team and that is around €30m. As told, Tottenham are trying to negotiate this amount and let’s see and wait for the development, for sure, in the next few days.”
Tottenham remain keen and are in discussions but will seek to negotiate a lower price. Inter Milan are also interested in the 21-year-old but their priority remains Arsenal star Folarin Balogun.
Spurs’ interest in the goal scorer is clear and a lot will depend on how negotiations will develop in the coming days. Hopefully, we can reach an agreement with the Belgian club before the summer window slams shut.

Levy will need to get his act together and do what it takes to bring in Orban. A prolific new striker is less of a luxury and more of a necessity. The sooner he realises it and lands Orban the better.
