Agent of Destiny Udogie confirms player is very happy at Tottenham Hotspur
According to GianlucaDiMarzio.it, Stefano Antonelli, the agent of Destiny Udogie has revealed that his client is very happy at Tottenham Hotspur since moving to the club earlier this summer.
The full-back agreed to join Spurs from Udinese last year but spent the 2022-23 campaign on loan in Serie A before arriving in North London a year later. It has proved to be an inspired decision as he has taken to life at N-17 like a fish to water.
Udogie has featured in all five of our Premier League games this season and already has two assists to his name. He fits into Ange Postecoglou’s system like a glove and continues to go from strength to strength.
Speaking on his client’s bright start in the Premier League, Antonelli confirmed that all parties involved are happy with how the move is turning out. As fans, we certainly have little to complain about.
“We are happy with everything that is happening and Destiny is very happy to be at Tottenham.”
He goes on to add that it is perhaps sad that the big Italian teams did not make a punt for Udogie. Not that we are complaining given how we have benefitted from the situation.
“It is certainly a shame that the big Italian teams did not make the investment that Tottenham made early and that young people of this level have to find space and glory outside Italy.”
Coming to a team that already had the likes of Sergio Reguilon, Ivan Perisic and Ryan Sessegnon was always going to be a risk. But Reguilon is now out on loan while Ivan Perisic is facing months out injured.
Udogie is arguably our best player in the left wing-back role right now and it is no coincidence that Postecoglou has placed his trust in him. Long may that continue.

While Fabio Paratici’s stint at Tottenham ended in controversy, there is little doubt that he knew the Italian market inside out. We will be grateful for him in winning the race for Udogie.
