Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are keen on hiring the services of Andrea Berta
According to The Independent, Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are both interested in securing Andrea Berta.
The Italian is being touted for an executive role by both Premier League clubs following his exploits at Atletico Madrid. He largely restructured the Rojiblancos recruitment, aiding Diego Simeone in building a winning team on the field.
This is something that Tottenham and Man United could do with in the coming years. Both clubs have invested in players in the recent past but never quite could discover the winning formula.
Tottenham had gone the Italian way not long before with Antonio Conte at the helm and Fabio Paratici in the front office. While the former’s reign ended in disaster, the latter’s moves could be starting to pay off.
Paratici is, however, no longer associated with the club and Tottenham are looking to restructure their football executive team. Berta has the necessary experience and credentials to make a positive impact in North London.

Tottenham are seeking to bring in younger players and appear to be putting together a long-term plan for success. This is a field where Berta succeeded in and adding his wealth of experience to our decision-making process could prove invaluable.
He has been at Atletico Madrid for a decade, serving as technical director for four years before being promoted to sporting director in 2017. During this time, the Rojiblacos have made two UEFA Champions League finals and have won numerous domestic accolades.
