Tottenham superstar Cristian Romero and his camaraderie with Lionel Messi are gaining a lot of attention in recent days. It looks like the Argentinian superstar has always had a liking toward the Spurs defender and that the feeling is mutual.
Messi recently named Romero “the best” central defender in the world. When one of the GOATs talks, all you can do is listen and if he has such praise for the Tottenham man, it shows what a special player we have.
The Argentinian centre-back joined Tottenham initially on loan from Atalanta before making his switch permanent. He has been one of our best players this season forming a formidable partnership with Micky van de Ven.
