Former Tottenham Hotspur player Tim Sherwood is full of praise for the Swede midfielder Dejan Kulusevski after Nottingham Forest win
According to Optus Sports, former Tottenham player Tim Sherwood says that Dejan Kulusevski is one of the most “underrated player” in the Premier League. His style of play demonstrates what a valuable asset the team has acquired after a considerable amount of time, making our hopes of winning the championship appear more likely now.
The key to that victory over Steve Cooper’s team was Spurs’ outstanding Swede, Kulusevski, who first set Richarlison up for a goal before scoring a fantastic second goal by pouncing on a poor clearing by former Arsenal custodian Matt Turner.
Dejan Kulusevski’s two flashes of genius proved to be the difference between the two teams as the Swede scored a goal and provided an assist, with Spurs appearing to be lacking inspiration for the most of the match and finding it difficult to include Heung-Min Son.
Sherwood said:
“He’s so fluid, the boy can play absolutely anywhere. In my opinion, he’s one of the most underrated players in the entire Premier League.”
Kulusevski, nevertheless, is a superb player and should be commended greatly for his achievements. On the game, he is always entertaining to watch, and he is prospering under Ange Postecoglou’s aggressive system.
According to Kulusevski, he has a personal preference for playing in the No 10 role. He mentioned that this was the position he played during his earlier years before transitioning to the wing. The 23-year-old Swedish star, who plays on the flank most of the time, has started the last two games in a more central offensive midfield role, replacing James Maddison, who Postecoglou has been sorely missing. But, given Kulusevski’s sparkling form, are we convinced Maddison is a miss right now?
Kulusevski’s commitment to honing his skills is evident, as he recognises the need to enhance his right foot’s potential. As Ange Postecoglou continues to guide him through different positions, Tottenham’s player shows great potential with his right foot, adding a promising offensive dynamic to the team.
