Tottenham Hotspur looking for a surprise transfer for the in-form Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke
According to The Sun, as the winter transfer window approaches, Tottenham Hotspur are looking to land talented players in the squad and surprisingly Bournemouth’s talisman of the season, Dominic Solanke has emerged as a possible option.
Following Harry Kane’s £100m transfer to Bayern Munich, the club has yet to sign a replacement for their captain. Several players have emerged this term, and when Kane left Ange Postecoglou’s squad still remained competitive.
Since the start of this season, scouts have followed Solanke closely to keep a watchful eye on him. He will continue under their scrutiny throughout the coming months as we anticipate a transfer in the summer.
With his recent goals, he has now scored 11 times in 17 games in the Premier League this season, placing him just behind Erling Haaland and Mo Salah in the goalscoring rankings. Solanke has had a slow start in the Premier League in his career, facing difficulties in making an impact during his time at Chelsea and Liverpool.
His struggles persisted at Bournemouth, with only four goals to his name in his debut Premier League season with the club.
Now, it seems that Bournemouth is preparing for offers from top Premier League teams due to his outstanding performance this season. It is believed that Liverpool could potentially gain from Solanke’s transfer, as they reportedly have a 20% sell-on clause from the striker’s sale in 2019.
