James Maddison shares a message with his teammates ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s game against Brighton
James Maddison last featured for Tottenham Hotspur back in November. The last game that he played for the team was against Chelsea. He was subbed out halfway through the game after picking up an ankle injury that has kept him on the sidelines for a while now.
During the 12 appearances that the midfielder has made for the team, he has been excellent. His passing abilities are fully reflected in his stats. The English national has recorded three goals and five assists for his team this season.
Maddison recently took to Instagram and reposted a picture of him celebrating with his teammates. The message that he had on there has been reassuring to a lot of fans. The 27-year-old reassured the people with four simple words, “More to come soon” he wrote.
Fans have been keeping their eyes peeled for any news as the player is closing in on his return. Adding James Maddison will make this already amazing Spurs team even better. It is an understatement to call him a quality midfielder.
Postecoglou is hopeful that the player will be available for the team’s game against Manchester United. They will be taking on the Red Devils on the 14th of January next year.
With Son Heung-min set to leave the club for international duty, the return of James Maddison needs to happen as quickly as possible. The South Korean superstar has been taking on a heavy load for the team this season and deserves to get a bit of a breather.
