Tottenham Hotspur are going to be competing with Crystal Palace for the signature of an Italian star
As reported by Italian publication TV Play, Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace have an interest in Italian star Matias Soule. The Premier League giants could soon be butting heads with each other as they race for the Argentinian’s signature.
The 20-year-old is on loan at Frosinone Calcio. He’s been having the time of his life with the Italian side. In 18 appearances for the team, he has recorded seven goals and one assist (tranfermarkt). Not too shabby for such a young winger.
We have already seen the potential of the Lilywhites, the average age of the team is 26.2 according to Transfermarkt. They have some amazing youngsters like Pape Matar Sarr and Destiny Udogie.
Adding a player like Soule to the young core of the team will be amazing for the Spurs. Within a few years, these young stars can grow and develop to be bonafide superstars for Tottenham. The team will be firing on all cylinders to sing the Argentinian.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the player is looking to end the season with his current club. It looks like for the time being Tottenham must prepare to move for the player next summer. However, a lot will depend on how the current season plays out for the Lilywhites.
A string of good performances has helped the team get back to form. However, their recent loss against Brighton will surely shake their spirits a little. Postecoglou needs to rally his team and bring them back to early season form if he hopes to win the Premier League title.
