Tottenham Hotspur can sign Serhou Guirassy of Stuttgart for £15.1m despite AC Milan’s interest
According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign the Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy in this transfer window but AC Milan are also looking to sign him.
In 14 appearances for the Bundesliga this season, Guirassy has scored 17 goals and assisted on 1 more, while in 2 appearances for the German Cup, he has scored twice and achieved 1 assist. With nine goals in twenty-one games, Olivier Giroud has been Milan’s primary scorer this season, while Christian Pulisic has netted six in his debut season with the club.
It seems that the club’s internal consensus is that Pape Matar Saar and Yves Bissouma’s withdrawal from the Africa Cup of Nations is not uncontrollable and that they can weather the storm without adding a player to handle, at most, a handful of games.

Having said that, Rafael Leao’s goal-scoring record in 19 appearances is somewhat low at five goals and 5 assists. There will be a flurry of activity in January as both Tottenham and Manchester United want to bolster their attacking options; United reportedly have Anthony Martial on their transfer list.
However, as a whole, Tottenham are doing well at the moment and thinks their plan to gradually improve this group is the correct one—allowing them to be somewhat more aggressive in the summer.
It is anticipated that Tottenham will not acquire a pure No. 9 given Richarlison’s current success, although some fans continue to hold out hope that Harry Kane may be replaced. While Heung-Min Son is in the Asian Cup, Spurs fans will have to cope with the heartbreak of seeing Alejo Veliz sob his way off the pitch in the loss to Bournemouth.

His £15 million release clause makes him tempting, but his position as a centre forward rather than a wide player means he might not be a good fit for the team at the moment. If he remains available in the summer, Spurs may attempt to sign him.
