Watch as the newest additions to Tottenham Hotspur, Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin meet for the first time
Tottenham Hotspur have been very successful this January, the team has added both Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin to their ranks. The two new additions to the Lilywhites recently came face to face which made for an entertaining spectacle.
As confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, Werner has joined the team on a season-long loan. Spurs also have the option to buy the forward for a price of €17m. Tottenham are expecting big things from the player.
He will most likely be filling in for Heung-Min Son who is currently participating in the Asian Cup. Werner has some big shoes to fill as Son was the team’s leading goal scorer before he departed for international duty.
On the other hand, the Spurs have also done a splendid job at locking down Radu Dragusin. They paid €30m for the Genoa star, which is honestly not a crazy amount if you’ve seen what the Romanian can do on the field.
He will be excellent when paired with Cristian Romero at centre-back. His tall 1.91m frame makes him unstoppable in the air and perfect for blocking shots. Dragusin also has good intuition and often connects with his long passes.
Postecoglou had his work cut out for him and he has set the team up well for success. Tottenham Hotspur looks formidable, it’ll be a challenge for most teams to beat them out in a 90-minute game.
