Croatian club Hajduk Split looking dreaming to sign Tottenham star Ivan Perisic this transfer window
According to the famous Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano’s tweet on X, Croatian club Hajduk Split are still looking to sign the talented Tottenham Hotspur footballer Ivan Perisic.
The Croatian international Perisic was key for the Lilywhites when he started playing in 2023. The player is still out with a severe anterior cruciate ligament injury to his right knee.
Though he is now out of action due to an injury, there are also rumours about whether the former Inter Milan footballer will return home in future. By coming from Hajduk Split’s academy and moving to Sochaux in France in 2006, it is believed that Perisic will conclude his own career by returning to Hajduk.

Speaking about transfer, during the January window which is open now sporting director of Hajduk Nikolicius has shared his thoughts on signing a player with good experience. He also clarified why there is no haste for agreement to be reached long before the Premier League transfer window slams shut on February 1st at 11 pm.
With speculation surrounding Perisic’s potential departure from Tottenham last summer after Ange Postecoglou took charge, the head coach expressed his admiration for the former Bayern Munich player and made his position on the matter abundantly clear ahead of the upcoming season.
The experienced Croatian, aged 34, is currently out of action due to an ACL injury sustained in September. Perisic is making progress in his recovery, but it’s uncertain if he will have the opportunity to play for Spurs again.

In Tottenham’s case, a mid-season sale would be the perfect scenario. One major concern is that he is currently unable to join any team due to his ongoing recovery from knee surgery.
