Tanguy Ndombele has been making the rounds on social media as footage has emerged where the Tottenham Hotspur loanee looks out of shape.
A video has emerged on social media platform X, highlighting the poor shape that Tottenham Hotspur loanee, Tanguy Ndombele has found himself in. Since his €63m record-breaking transfer to the Spurs, the 27-year-old has been on three different loan spells.
From the footage, it is clear to see that Tanguy is struggling to meet the pace of the match and keep up with his peers. This is a cause for concern since his fitness issues have previously been highlighted by both Ange Postecoglou and former Spurs boss Jose Mourinho.
The Frenchman has played 16 games this season and has been unable to leave a mark in any of them. It seems like his dreams of a career in the Premier League may soon be put to rest under his own weight.
He was also largely unimpressive during his time at Napoli last year, the 27-year-old was asked to feature in 40 games for Gli Azzurri and only managed to record two goals and one assist during that time.
He is being put on blast around the world, many claim that his downfall has begun due to how unserious he is regarding his fitness. Ndombele was very highly rated back when Tottenham signed him from Olympique Lyon.
However, those ratings haven’t mattered much in the long run because of his constant fitness issues. In 91 appearances for the Spurs, the French midfielder has only been able to make 19 goal contributions. These are good stats for a single season, but horrible over five years.

Ndombele’s contract with the Spurs is set to expire next year, if he is unable to turn himself around over the next 12 months, his career in the Premier League might come to an end.
