Tottenham Hotspur target Antonio Nusa might be lured by Chelsea in this transfer window
According to ESPN, Tottenham Hotspur have started negotiating with the Belgian team Club Brugge for their talented play-maker Antonio Nusa.
The Belgian club has placed a valuation of €30 million ($25.73m) on Nusa, who is only 18 years old. They are keen on keeping him until the end of the season as part of any deal made this month. The 18-year-old has been generating a lot of buzz and is also catching the attention of Chelsea, who had a £23million bid turned down on deadline day last summer.
However, Tottenham has been relentlessly searching for another striker who could operate both on the left wing and in a central role. They already have the loan signing of Timo Werner this month.
In the summer of last year, Nusa found his way into Chelsea’s radar after an approach for the gifted player. He signed a new contract earlier this year which will keep him until 2027.
Nusa, the Norwegian international who plays on the left and loves testing his rivals; Brugge signed him in 2021 from Stabaek. In the entire season so far, he has scored four goals and three assists in 27 appearances across all competitions.
Spurs are reportedly eager to gain an advantage over their rivals by signing Nusa this month, but there are concerns that we might face competition for the player.
Pepe Matar Sarr and Destiny Udogie have been promising players who have now emerged as Premier League stars after joining our club. Their impressive progress at Tottenham has recently been recognised with lucrative long-term contracts. Spurs have identified Nusa as another promising 18-year-old who could potentially follow a similar trajectory.

We have a strong belief that we will be able to resolve this deal before the window closes. We are not particularly concerned about other teams showing interest in him, as it appears that we have been quite influential in attracting players recently.
We’ll have to be patient before witnessing Nusa’s debut for Spurs. However, the exciting possibility of him being a part of Postecoglou’s system for an extended period is truly enticing.
