Tottenham Hotspur wants to sign Fenerbahce player Sebastian Szymanski to bolster the squad
According to the Turkish outlet Star, Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Polish star Sebastian Szymanski of Fenerbahce.
The report shows that Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is extremely keen on signing the midfielder, who has been in fine form this season with 12 goals and 14 assists for all competitions.
It seems that Spurs are determined to secure the player’s signature in the upcoming months, and they will need to fork out €35 million for his services. It’s clear that this skilled attacking midfielder would be a valuable addition for us in the long run. The big question now is whether Tottenham can successfully secure the deal.
There will most definitely be an interesting thing to see whether the Polish midfielder can establish himself as a permanent starter at Tottenham. He is in the same league as James Maddison who has become an integral player for the North London club. In addition to that, the England international takes a prestigious vice captain’s role and it almost seems impossible for him to be replaced by a new signing.
Szymanski’s ability to adapt and excel in various roles is truly remarkable. The 24-year-old can shine in the role of playmaker, right winger position as well as a dynamic presence present in central midfield and thus giving Postecoglou an advantage at three important positions. The deadline for this transfer window is not far away and the Lilywhites have to do the impossible and get hold of the Fenerbahce star before the deadline passes.
It’s unclear if Spurs will make any more signings before the transfer window closes, but they definitely have a promising list of potential targets.

By this stage in his professional life, it will be more likely that the 24-year-old would want to play regularly than warm on a Spurs bench. Before committing to any move, Spurs must confirm the number of minutes available for him in here.
