This young player from England’s u21 team has played a crucial role in Villa’s squad. He started his career at the club and made his first team debut in September 2020 against Fulham, when Dean Smith was the head coach. He has established himself as a consistent presence in the team. This season, Ramsey has played in 10 Premier League matches and made 14 appearances in all competitions for Unai Emery’s successful team.
According to the journalist, there is a chance that Aston Villa may look upon selling Ramsey as a way of generating funds and ensuring compliance with Premier League profit and sustainability regulations. They might agree to a transfer fee of about £50m.
With the recent acquisitions of Timo Werner on loan from RB Leipzig and Radu Dragusin from Genoa, Spurs are taking steps to bolster their squad depth. Now, they have set their sights on Ramsey, the talented midfielder from Aston Villa.
