Tottenham ace Pedro Porro asks an FPL player to not sell him ahead of the Palace fixture
Tottenham Hotspur‘s star wingback Pedro Porro hints his imminent return from the injury while responding to a comment on TikTok, per The Standard. An FPL (Fantasy Premier League) player asked the Tottenham defender whether they should sell him. The comment grabbed the Spaniard’s attention who responded, “Don’t sell me”.
Pedro Porro missed out on Tottenham’s action against Wolves last weekend. His partner from the opposite side of the pitch, Destiny Udogie, was absent as well. The duo were dearly missed during the clash as Wolves capitalized on counterattacks.
Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie are pacy defenders who can charge back rather quickly to obstruct such attacks. Nevertheless, the home team succumbed to a 1-2 loss. Ange hinted that Udogie’s return will be against Crystal Palace on 2nd March.
The manager did not have a specific time of return for Porro and concluded by saying the Spaniard might need a couple of weeks. However, Pedro Porro’s response to the ‘FPL comment’ is enough for the fans to hope for the best.
Tottenham must thank Chelsea
Tottenham and Chelsea’s rivalry have stood the test of time. Hence, it might sound a bit odd that the North Londoners will have to thank their city rivals. However, in this case, it is due.
Spurs are haunted by injury woes right from the first half of the season. It is one of the major reasons why the Lilywhites aren’t on top of the Premier League table as they did after the first 10 games.
Now, Postecoglou has lost both his first-choice full-backs to injuries. While the injuries aren’t that bad, they were enough to keep the duo sidelined for a couple of games. That would have been a huge blow to Tottenham as every game matters to them at this point.
