Tottenham ace Micky van de Ven is an admirer of Coldplay
Tottenham Hotspur stopper Micky van de Ven answered a series of fun questions in Tottenham’s “Getting To Know’ segment. The 22-year-old spoke about his admiration towards British rock band Coldplay. van de Ven admitted he would love to see them live someday.
The interviewer asked Micky van de Ven, Who would you most like to see in concert? The young defender answered:
“I think I’d like to see Coldplay. It always looks fantastic when they have the light show with the crowd. It would be great to see that and watch them in concert.”
The fun segment involves a set of questions divided into ‘Who’, ‘Where’, ‘What’, ‘How’ and ‘When’. The question related to the band in question was placed under the ‘Who’ category. Co-incidentally, the co-founder of Coldplay, Jonny Buckland is a lifelong Tottenham Hotspur fan.
Perhaps van de Ven could earn an invitation from Buckland himself, should he come across this interview of the Tottenham defender.
Micky’s life at Tottenham
The ‘Getting to Know’ segment certainly helped the fans understand more about Micky van de Ven. However, they understood all about Micky ‘the defender’ right from the first game week. The young stopper has been one of the most influential Spurs players this season.
Considering Micky’s performance, it is hard to believe he is playing his first-ever season in the Premier League, where most struggle to find rhythm. The former Wolfsburg player has never missed a game for Ange Postecoglou when completely fit.
He has formed a formidable partnership with Cuti Romero this season. The duo is widely regarded as arguably the best centre-back partnership in the Premier League this season.
