Radu Dragusin praises Tottenham transfer target following his Masterclass against Israel
Tottenham Hotspur star, Radu Dragusin recently took to Instagram to share his excitement about Alber Gudmundsson’s hattrick against Israel. The 26-year-old and the Romanian were teammates during his time in Genoa.
As reported by Italian publication Gazzetta, The Lilywhites are big admirers of Gudmundsson. The team is currently in the running to sign the 26-year-old and he is expected to become the second Genoa player to join Tottenham.
However, things might not be so simple for the Spurs since Inter Milan have a serious interest in the Iceland striker. In 29 appearances this season, Albert has recorded 12 goals and four assists for the Italian side.
Milan may be interested but it seems like Tottenham hold the advantage for the time being. They’ve already conducted business with Genoa during the January transfer window and will probably get priority if they approach their gates again.
Moreover, Radu Dragusin and Gudmundsson have a close relationship. So, the Romanian could try and convince the 26-year-old to bring his talents to England by signing on with the Spurs.
But any deal involving Albert will likely not be cheap. He has three years remaining on his contract with Genoa and to add to that, the player is in top form at the moment.

If Genoa decide to move on from Albert Gudmundsson then whoever ends up getting the 26-year-old will most likely have to sign off on a big check for the Italian side.
