Tottenham ace Rodrigo Bentancur expresses pride and happiness over La Celeste.
Tottenham ace Rodrigo Bentancur has been on top of his game. Recently, he has displayed what a top-notch player he can be. He also confirmed that he has been playing with an injury in recent weeks. Bentancur suffered a broken toe around March 2nd when Spurs took on Crystal Palace earlier this month.
The Uruguayan player displayed similar prowess when he played in the national team facing Basque Country in a friendly on the 23rd in Spain. They are now all set for their second one on the 26th in France.
He then proceeded to post a picture of himself on Instagram with the caption “A seguir trabajando! Orgulloso de poder vestir esta camiseta y poder llevar la cinta!!” which roughly translates to “Keep working hard! Proud to be able to wear this shirt and wear this flag!!” which expresses his happiness.
Additionally, Bentancur admitted that he was reluctant to take the time off to heal. He wanted to be present to play for both Ange Postecoglou and Marcelo Bielsa to play for Spurs and Uruguay, respectively.
No one can deny that Bentacur has in fact been working hard, which warrants the caption on his photo. It is much in line with the game that he has been playing, recently, with an injured knee, ankle and toe. He has, however, been through the pain barrier and has come back stronger than ever.

It is thus, no wonder that Rodrigo Bentancur was happy to share his success with fans on social media. The expectation is to see him play more for the teams and as well as he has been recently. All eyes are on him for the friendly on the 26th, and perhaps, he will get another photo opportunity from the match!
The hope is that he will keep up the stellar performance for the Premier League and lead the team to victory.
